Instructions

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 8 ounces fettuccine pasta 2 tablespoons olive oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional) Instructions: Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until they are no longer pink in the center and have a golden-brown crust, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and add the heavy cream and butter to the skillet. Stir constantly until the butter is melted and the mixture starts to thicken, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook, stirring, until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and add it back to the skillet. Let it simmer in the sauce for a few minutes to heat through. Season the Alfredo sauce with salt and pepper to taste. You can adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more cream if needed. Serve the chicken Alfredo over the cooked fettuccine pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
